Misery
Until now, there was absolutely nothing wrong with Maroon 5, despite what your own personal taste might have been telling you. Big fat basslines, lashings of poppy funk, slick vocals, catchy melodies, catchy hooks, catchy guitar riffs - well, you understand my point: the L.A. natives made cute pop tunes that didn't hurt my feelings in any way. But in 2010, Adam Levine has crossed the line. On this particular cute pop tune, his usually silky vocals have been autotuned within an inch of their lives, which has caused me much personal distress. If I were a violent person, I might attempt to thrust a vocoder down Levine's throat as punishment, but on 'Misery' it appears he's choking on one already.
