Minor Obsessions
House remixer comes good as tunesmith
For the last five years Dublin’s Edwin James Cummins has been producing his intelligent blend of atmospheric house and techno under the guise of Corrugated Tunnel. Already a re-mixer of notable regard, the producer is an insanely talented tunesmith in his own right and Minor Obsessions sees him at the height of his powers. While the snappy ‘Cabin Fever’ and ‘Remedy For My Soul’ are obvious standouts (largely thanks to vocals from Deborah Kay and Antoinette Dunleavy respectively) the hypnotic likes of ‘Fade Away’ ensure you’ll keep coming back to this record time and time again.
