Midnight Enchilada

If 'Midnight Enchilada' had been released a year ago, I might have quipped how lucky we are to have a band like Squarehead in Ireland. Today, on the other hand, I feel like we need a band like Squarehead in Ireland. Between the dismal weather and what I like to call coalition blues, the surf is far from up on our fair shores, but thanks to this breezy guitar-led jaunt, everything can seem rosy again… for two and a half minutes at least. The opening line hits the nail right on its proverbial head: "So let me hear some other rock and roll/ Just like the music might heal my soul". My thoughts exactly.
