The Clones event brings an array of talent to Vance's Estate in June.
Monaghan gets musical next month, as the Fortstock Festival returns after a year's break. Taking place June 14 – 15 on Vance's Estate, Clones, within the beautiful surrounds of the Drumlin Hills, organisers are promising that "there are no gimmicks; here it's all about good music."
The first day will be headlined by much-loved Fleetwood Mac cover act, Mack Fleetwood, who will deliver live renditions of hits from the Peter Green era, through Rumours and on to the present day. Also on the Saturday, legendary six-stringer Brush Shiels will play, along with Cavan youngster The Whereabouts, singer-songwriter Finnian, local heroes The Vinylheads and more.
Day two finds the likes of Shouting At Planes and Future Phantoms performing, before Ultravox star Midge Ure graces Fortstock in style with a career-spanning solo set. Kopy Kat Killers will bring proceedings to a close.
All this for the low price of €40 for a weekend pass and €25 for one day.
Teenage (16-17 years old) tickets are €25 for the weekend and €15 for the day, whilst children under 16 go free with an adult.

The festival was officially launched last Saturday in Dublin's Gypsy Rose, as three fast-rising homegrown artists booked for Fortstock took the stage – Future Phantoms, The Whereabouts (pictured) and 20 Second Century. Click here for the photo gallery.
