Microdisney reissues announced
Cherry Red are bringing the '80s classics to a new audience next month.
Team Hot Press is delighted that archive specialists Cherry Red Records are re-issuing Microdisney’s classic Love Your Enemies and The Clock Comes Down The Stairs albums on June 24.
The former originally came out in 1984 under the apartheid regime-bating title of We Hate You South African Bastards! while the latter topped the indie charts the following year.
The band’s core members were The World’s Greatest Living Corkman® Cathal Coughlan and Sean O’Hagan who went on to form The High Llamas and generally indulge in Beach Boys-esque wonderfulness.
