Mick Flannery added to 'Wider Than Pictures' lineup at National Museum of Ireland
Tickets to see Mick Flannery at Collins' Barracks go on sale Thursday, 9th March at 10am.
Mick Flannery has been added to the Wider Than Pictures' series, live at the National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks, Dublin.
The fourth headline artist to be announced for 2023, Flannery will perform on Saturday 26 August 2023, with very special guests.
Multi-platinum selling Cork artist Mick Flannery is often cited as one of Ireland's most gifted songwriters to date. Mick has released eight studio albums, three of which reached No. 1.
His latest full length In The Game, a collaboration with Susan O'Neill, was the biggest independent selling record in Ireland in 2021. A concept album sung from the perspective of two lovers, In The Game received nominations for Choice Music Prize Album of the Year, RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Awards’ Album of the Year and won Best Original Folk Track for its single, ‘Chain Reaction'.
Last February, Flannery shared a new 12-track album, Night at the Opera – and a companion NFT – on Bandcamp, which was inspired by chess.
Future Islands, First Aid Kit and Yungblud will also play Singular Artists' Wider Than Pictures series this summer.
Tickets go on sale Thursday, 9th March at 10am.
