Having released a Greatest Hits set before Christmas, the chaps parted company with Island, set up their own Super Records label and gave their far rockier Radio:ACTIVE album away free with the Mail On Sunday.
“We think it's the best album we've ever made,” gushes mainman Tom Fletcher. “Everything we've made so far has involved a lot of compromise by us creatively. By giving it away free with the Mail On Sunday we can hit a few million people in one day. We just want to reach out and get a whole new audience and encourage more people to listen.”
