Gram Parsons, George Harrison and Jamie Blake are three of the comparisons that have been flung - justifiably! - at Max Jury, the 21-year-old Des Monies singer who plays The Workman’s Club, Dublin on October 5.

Having gained attention on this side of the pond with his inclusion on the Rough Trade Shops: Counter Culture 13 compilation, Jury is about to release his Something In The Air EP, which adds Tom Waits to those list of influences.
