Mary Byrne storms the Irish album chart!
The Dublin singer's debut Mine & Yours has knocked Adele off the top spot
Ballyfermot singer Mary Byrne, who found fame on TV show The X-Factor is this week's No. 1 album in the official Irish chart.
Byrne lost out to Matt McArdle on the show, but this hasn't stopped her from storming the Irish chart! Mine & Yours has knocked London singer Adele off the top spot - 21 spent nine weeks at the top, it now drops to No. 2. Debut 19 drops to No. 3.
Anothe newcomer - or should we say 'newcomeback-er' - Britney Spears' latest offering Femme Fatale is a new entry at No. 4, while Ronan Keating's When Ronan Met Burt climbs from No. 20 to No. 5.
Meanwhile in the Indie chart, Adele has held onto the No. 1 and No. 2 spots, while The Strokes Angles is a new entry at No. 3. See the chart in full here.
