Mark Lanegan Band to release EP and album
The video for 'Sad Lover' has just been released online.
Less than a year on from the release of his "mixed" covers album (so opined HP's Paul Nolan), Mark Lanegan is ready to come roaring back with a bunch of original material. The gravel-voiced singer, who turns 50 in October, has two 'Mark Lanegan Band' releases planned for the coming up.
First up, the EP No Bells On Sunday arrives on limited edition vinyl from August 22. It will also be available digitally. The first taster for that has arrived in the form of 'Sad Lover'. Check out the promo for that one below.
After that, the autumn will bring a brand new LP, entitled Phantom Radio and released through Flooded Soil / Heavenly Recordings.
