Marie Keane releases her debut album, Russian Doll, on vinyl
Marie is also playing a number of upcoming dates including a performance in Dublin on Sunday for International Women's Day, in 4 Dame Lane.
Marie Keane is a singer-songwriter performing music about environmental protection (Marie's a qualified environmental scientist) to Motown influenced love tunes. For 20 years she's performed in various blues, soul and jazz ensembles.
Russian Doll is a mix of folk blues and soul with subtle classical and traditional undertones. The release of Russian Doll on vinyl follows on from last year's packed out Sugar Club performance of the full album. Russian Doll is available on vinyl now in Tower Records, selected Golden Discs stores and independent record stores in Dublin, Kildare, Athlone, Cork and Galway and record shops throughout the country, supporting Irish music.
Keane will be playing venues around Ireland over the coming months and appearances in the UK this April.
