Just in time for Mother’s Day, the man known internationally as Kylie Minogue’s ex- releases his sixth record Sign Of Your Love. Lead single ‘Make Love’ is a cover of a track penned by London singer-songwriter and Terry Wogan favourite Joe Cang and while the original is undeniably cute and tailor-made for the soundtrack of a dreamy Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks romcom, if such things were still in production, Donovan’s hammed-up version falls spectacularly flat.
