Macie Stewart of Ohmme announces debut solo album, shares new single 'Finally'
The track is the lead single for the singer-songwriter's debut album 'Mouth Full Of Glass'
Chicago-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Macie Stewart – best known as one half of avant-garde rock band Ohmme – has shared details of her first solo album and released a new single, called 'Finally'.
Mouth Full of Glass will be released September 24th via Orindal, and Lia Kohl directed the video for 'Finally'. A swelling string section lifts the dreamy track which, according to a statement, “is meant to be a gentle urge to face yourself, and ultimately face the cumulative white lies we tell ourselves in order to get through all sorts of relationships. Writing this felt more like a discovery of lightness, rather than a dark absolute.”
Last year Ohmme shared their album Fantasize Your Ghost.
