Mac Demarco announces National Museum of Ireland show
The multi-instrumentalist is the first performer to be announced for the 5th annual music series.
Mac Demarco has announced he will perform at the Collins Baracks, Dublin on August 29, 2026.
The show comes as part of the Wider Than Pictures music series, hosted at the venue annually. The 'Chamber of Reflection' singer is the first to be announced for next year's six-day concert series.
Last August, the event boasted a lineup featuring Father John Misty, Wunderhorse, The Human League, Sharon Van Etten and Kaiser Chiefs.
Demarco is also set to tour in Ireland this upcoming November, with two sold-out dates at the National Stadium on November 17 and 18, marking his first Irish gig since 2019.
The Canadian musician's latest album Guitar was released in August, which Hot Press described as "his most pared back record to date, exploring deep personal turmoil".
Tickets for the Wider Than Pictures music series go sale this Friday, October 31 at 10am. An exclusive pre-sale sign up can be found here.
