Even after the veritable stomper that was 'Beat Of My Drum', we weren't expecting the very-nearly-useless Nicola Roberts to come up with something as good as 'Lucky Day', a quirk-laden electro-pop tune with more energy and soul than we'd thought Ms. Roberts capable of. For a result that's part Kate Bush, part Little Boots, there must have been a whole lot of production wizardry at work on this fidgety number, so hats off to Canadian new wavers Dragonette, who've done a particularly good job of beefing up their ginger mascot's flighty vocal.
