Her first new material since breakthrough album Pure Heroine, ‘Yellow Flicker Beat’ proves the talented teenager is far from a flash in the pan. From the soundtrack to The Hunger Games-Mockingkay Part 1 (which Lorde is ‘curating’), it’s a breathy, bombastic number packed with melodrama, strings and a chorus to die for.
