Kilrea man Robin G. Shiels is in astounding form throughout debut EP The Great Depression, but he waits until the intimate 'Look What You've Done' to break out the big guns, recalling the damaged-but-gorgeous final recordings of Johnny Cash. This is a whole new species of acoustic-induced heartbreak, and Shiels manages to sound hopeful, sombre and fearless all at the same time.
