Long live Boa Morte
...and Teenage Fanclub's drummer Gerard Love will see that the cult Cork band do indeed live long and prosper, for he's just signed them to his own label, Shoeshine
Cork guitar merchants Boa Morte are feeling suitably chuffed with themselves after signing to Glasgow's Shoeshine Records.
The label M.D. is none other than Teenage Fanclub drummer Gerard Love who informed the boys last month that himself and Norman Blake loved their new album, and wanted to give it a UK release.
That's set to happen on May 27th, with the Leesiders playing cross-channel dates in support.
As for the Fannies, you can catch them and Jad Fair at Whelan's on April 20th when they'll be plugging their Words Of Wisdom & Hope album. Which, in case you're wondering, is a corker.
