Lizzo releases new single 'Still Bad' and plays first show since 2023 lawsuits
The singer was accused of sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment by former employees.
Lizzo has shared a new single, 'Still Bad.'
The song is expected to feature in her upcoming album Love in Real Life. The release date is yet to be announced.
The four-time Grammy winner also gave a show in Los Angeles on Wednesday. It is her first full-length concert since she was served with several lawsuits in 2023.
The singer was accused of sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment, among other things, by three of her tour dancers.
Lizzo took to social media to deny these claims: "These sensationalised stories are coming from former employees who have already publicly admitted that they were told their behaviour on tour was inappropriate and unprofessional," read part of her Instagram post.
The same month, the dancers' legal team accused Lizzo's lawyers of "victim shaming" their clients.
Last year, Lizzo posted a statement to social media saying "I didn’t sign up for this shit — I QUIT." However, the next week she clarified she was not quitting music: "when I say I quit, I mean I quit giving any negative energy attention," she said in a clip posted to Instagram.
The singer made her return to music official by releasing the single 'Love in Real Life' last February, which is also expected to feature in her upcoming album.
