Live Review: Trinity Orchestra @ Forbidden Fruit
Trinity Orchestra
Main Stage, Forbidden Fruit
How is it that Trinity Orchestra seem to just keep on getting better? In their second year playing Forbidden Fruit, the veritable army of talent gave a rousing opening to the day’s festivities on the Main Stage.
The Orchestra’s selection of Vampire Weekend covers ranged from the upbeat ‘Unbelievers’ to the subtler ‘Hannah Hunt’, all of which had undergone the Trinity Orchestra treatment. Striking harmonies such as those on ‘Obvious Bicycle’ were typical, with ‘Horchata’ bringing flawless moments from the woodwind section.
The full orchestra, conducted by Matt Rafter, was accompanied by a host of lead singers during their hour- long set.
