Little Shocks
Although devoid of the festival-formulated singalong chorus that made Kaiser Chiefs the biggest band in the UK back in 2006, 'Little Shocks' isn't nearly as bad as it could be. Some messy clanging at the outset and a dark, plodding melody are the most of the Leeds rockers' troubles and besides, there's a killer grinding guitar riff, tasteful lyrics (I couldn’t believe it either…) and an instantly likeable vocal to focus your ears on.
