Listen: The Late David Turpin's new single 'Unsolved Mystery'
The single is a pre-release from Turpin’s forthcoming album ROMANCES and features the vocal stylings queer jazz artiste Jaime Nanci
Following on from the release of 'Concubine' (sung by Elephant) in February of this year, The Late David Turpin took to Facebook to announce the release of 'Unsolved Mystery'.
"My grown-up new song - Unsolved Mystery, feat. Jaime Nanci - is now out on Spotify or whatever streaming service you prefer." The musical artist went on to write, "I'm quite proud of this particular song and I hope you'll listen, enjoy and - who knows? - maybe even share it with your friends."
The haunting song features the vocals of queer jazz artiste Jaime Nanci and was co-produced with Stephen Shannon. The song's title comes from David being haunted by re-runs of the CBS television series Unsolved Mysteries (1987-1999) every Saturday night throughout his childhood.
