LISTEN: Spice Girls share unreleased song 'Feed Your Love'
Wannabe transported back to the glory days of girl power and absurdly chunky platform shoes? Us too.
Spice up your life with this slice of pure 90s pop, 'Feed Your Love'. The previously unreleased track marks the 25th anniversary of the Spice Girls' landmark hit, 'Wannabe'.
The song was written by the group with Richard Stannard and Matt Rowe in 1995. A short clip of it leaked in 2016, but it has not been formally released until now.
With lyrics like "Feed your love to me / cause I really, really, really, wanna share my secrets with you", and synthesiser melodies that sound like something out of a time-capsule (think '2 Become 1' for level of 90s pop cheese), the song has everything it needs to become a summer hit.
The track is part of a wider release, Wannabe 25, that features three different versions of the title track, including a remix by US DJ Junior Vasquez.
