The former Dogg is reggae-fied.
If you thought Snoop's decision to take his music in a new reggae direction was all talk, last month's 'La, La, La' saw him walking the walk. It gave us our first taste from the Snoop Lion ouevre and now we have a second.
'Here Comes The King' is produced by Major Lazer, features Angela Hunte on vocals and will feature on the Reincarnation album, out in February. Check out the stream below.
The video for 'La, La, La', which you can also see below, finds our Long Beach hero taking his new 'Lion' guise to quite literal levels, playing dress-up with a bunch of kids who make the call on whether they like Snoop Dogg or Snoop Lion the best. Heartwarming stuff.
Snoop called the video: "A lot of kids, a lot of costumes, you know lion in the jungle, just having a good time. A bunch of kids dressed in costume, dancin' shakin' and bakin', makin' it move to the music and the sounds of Snoop Lion."

And, of his new direction, he had this to say: "If I just drop this music, it leaves room for questioning. You wouldn't understand the whole journey or the transformation. When I allow you to see the movie, to go on the journey with me, to see exactly why I'm the Lion."
