Listen: Nirvana bootleg unveiled after 25 years
Portland, Oregon gig is where Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love first met
It's a show that has gone down in rock history as the night when Kurt Cobain met Courtney Love; now, a bootleg recording of an early Nirvana gig has surfaced online.
Apparently a recording of a gig that took place at the Satyricon nightclub in Portland, Oregon a full 25 years ago, the uploader claims that it was tucked away in a box of tapes until yesterday's anniversary of the gig prompted it to be shared.
It features Kurt and Krist doing their thing, but no Dave Grohl; he was yet to join the line-up, so it's Dale Crover - latterly of Melvins - keeping time.
It's a serious slice of nostalgia for the grunge nerds out there - take a listen to the 55-minute set below...
