LISTEN: Lou Reed & Metallica

The pairing of Metallica and Lou Reed raises more than a few eyebrows when it was first announced. Those eyebrows practically fell off when debut track 'The View' got its airing last month.

To say reaction has been mixed is a bit of an understatement. Many Metallica fans were left outraged at the presence of Lou Reed among their heroes, whilst many were just left confused by a song which, well, frankly, is more than a little odd. But now it's time for Lulu, the grand vision of Reed and co. based on the work of German playwright Frank Wedekind, to be unleashed on the masses. Hear it in all its 87-minute glory here.
