Liquid Love
New rave from beyond the grave
Normally when a band uses a keytar and opens their album with a Fleetwood Mac sample (in this case ‘Little Lies’) it’s grounds for hitting the stop button and throwing their music on the pile marked “novelty dross”. Somehow New Yorkers Shy Child make it work. The new rave ship may be sinking, but at least Shy Child have remembered their life jackets. Worth hearing.
Key Track: ‘Disconnected’
