A limited number of tickets are still available for Glen Hansard’s Trinity Summer Series gig, set to take place on July 2.
The show comes ahead of Hansard’s newly announced two-volume retrospective album Don+t Settle - Transmissions East & West, whose first instalment Transmissions East (Vol. 1) will be released Friday, April 24 via Plateau/Secretly Distribution.
A second volume, entitled Don+t Settle - Transmissions West, will come out later this year.
The single 'Didn't He Ramble (Funkhaus Version)' is out now. The track originally appeared on Hansard's 2016 EP A Season On The Line.

The Trinity show comes as pard of a 16-date run that will see Hansard perform across major European and UK cities, including shows in Paris, Berlin, Vienna, Zurich, and London, before concluding with a headline performance in Dublin.
Hansard began his career busking on the streets of Dublin before forming The Frames in 1990. The band released several albums, including Fitzcarraldo in 1996 and Burn the Maps in 2004, both of which reached No.1 in Ireland.
He rose to international prominence following his starring role in the 2007 film Once, co-starring Markéta Irglová. Their song ‘Falling Slowly’ won the Academy Award for Best Original Song the following year and inspired the Tony Award-winning Once the Musical. His most recent solo album All That Was East Is West Of Me Now was released in 2023.
Tickets for Glen Hansard’s Trinity Summer Series gig are still available here.
