L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N
After the all-out doom-fest that was The First Days Of Spring (we loved it, but tunes like 'My Broken Heart' were severely short on LOLs), it's odd to hear basement crooner Charlie Fink return to raucous choruses like the one on 'L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N'. Still, this distinctly chirpier sound is a good colour on Noah And The Whale and, if nothing else, proves that you don’t have be a brooding mess to make top notch folk pop.
