Life Is Cheap
The debut EP from shiny new outfit Ten Year Lull sees the Kildare band experiment within a handful of traditional rock streams (new wave moments penetrate ‘So It Begins’, while ‘Breathe’ is proudly poppy), but for my money, the one that suits them best is found on title track ‘Life Is Cheap’, a vaguely grungey piece of stomp rock with ear-catching lyrics and a heavy-hitting chorus.
