Let's Eat Grandma announce new album Two Ribbins
The first record in three years from the UK indie outfit will be released in April 2022.
Norwich indie-pop duo Let's Eat Grandma have announced their anticipated follow up to the acclaimed I'm All Ears will arrive on April 8.
Two Ribbins will be the band's third album on Transgressive Records and their first in three years.
The news comes with a new single from Let's Eat Grandma, with a music video of the title track from the record out now.
Directed by El Hardwick, the video features the Norfolk countryside, which was a place of real importance to the band when writing this record, according to a press release.
"'Two Ribbons' is a song I wrote to, and about, two of the closest people in my life, and how my relationships with them shifted over time through loss and life changes," said member Jenny Hollingworth.
"It touches on the isolating experience of grieving, our powerlessness in the face of death, and the visceral emotions of grief."
Hot Press interviewed the band earlier in their career back in 2019 at Electric Picnic.
The duo stopped by to the Hot Press Chat Room tent before their set at the festival and you can check out photos of the meeting here.
