Let Me Go
Based on Portishead's 'Glory Box', which in turn samples a classic Isaac Hayes joint, 'Let Me Go' proves that London-born, Wexford-raised Maverick Sabre can do big, glossy, cinematic R'n'B as well as soulful folk-infused hip hop. The accompanying video sees the local-lad-done-good swanning around a Nevada desert and rolling into fabulous Las Vegas as if he’s been doing this kind of 007 shit all his life. Seems like there’s nothing our Maverick can’t master.
