Led Zeppelin's Robert Plant sings 'Stairway To Heaven' for the first time in 16 years
The 75-year-old rockstar proves that he's still got it after 16 years as he sings the iconic Led Zeppelin song.
Former Led Zeppelin lead singer, Robert Plant surprised fans by singing the iconic 10-minute power ballad, 'Stairway To Heaven,' over the weekend after not singing it publicly in over half a decade.
After 16 years he played one of the band's most iconic songs during his set at a charity concert for The Cancer Platform at Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire.
Throughout the evening Plant also played other Zeppelin classics like "Black Dog" and "Thank You."
Developed by the Cancer Awareness Trust, the event was organised by former Duran Duran guitarist Andy Taylor. The concert was suitably called An Evening With Andy Taylor And Special Guests and it featured Robert Plant, former Pink Floyd bassist Guy Pratt, Andrew Ridgeley of Wham!, prolific drummer David Palmer (ABC, Andy Taylor, etc), comedian Katherine Ryan, and more.
