Last chance for live Cake
The Jimmy Cake hand us one more slice before heading into studio to record second album
Having (a) rocked the Trinity Ball, (b) blown many minds at Sabbath and (c) stood forehead to forehead with The Sun Ra Arkestra last weekend and come away smiling, massive Dublin cacophonists The Jimmy Cake perform their final gig on Saturday June 1st in Whelans before retiring from the live scene for a while.
Following the Whelans show - which will feature new-but-highly-recommended lot The Chalets and a DJ set from Brain Girl in support - the Cake will be beating a retreat to their studio to record their sophomore album, the follow-up to their critically acclaimed debut LP Brains.
