Lankum announced for Massive Attack's climate action accelerator event in Bristol
The gig is set to take place in August and will welcome a number musical guests, including Lankum
Massive Attack have announced the line-up for their Act 1.5 homecoming Bristol show on August 25 as part of a climate action event, celebrating 25 years of climate activism for the band.
For this gig, the trip hop collective will be joined by Mercury Prize nominated and Choice Music Prize winners Irish 4-piece Lankum.
Other artists in the line-up include three-time Grammy winner Killer Mike, Sam Morton and the Wild Bunch’s DJ Milo.
The event is set to be the lowest carbon show of its size ever staged, keeping its promise of being a large-scale climate action accelerator gig.
It will celebrate Massive Attack’s collaboration with climate scientists from the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change research, which includes the publication of the Roadmap to Super Low Carbon Live Music, commissioned by the band in 2021.
Tickets start from £60.70 and are available here.
