Lana's latest tops iTunes charts in 80 countries
As Lana Del Rey premieres the video for 'Shades Of Cool', its parent album has been doing remarkably well in its first week.
Bound for Cork next month – she plays Live At The Marquee on July 15 – Lana Del Rey has plenty of cause to celebrate as her latest album does exceptional business in its first week on sale.
Ultraviolence, the New Yorker's third LP, has debuted at number one on iTunes in 80 countries. Released last Friday in Ireland, we'll have to wait a couple of days for confirmation of its official album chart placing, but all signs at this stage suggest it will continue the success of its predecessor, Born To Die, which has gone double platinum in Ireland.
Keeping all eyes and ears on her, Del Rey has just released the video for her brand new single, 'Shades Of Cool'.
Watch the typically-theatrical, Jake Nava-directed promo below.
