Suggestions of an October release were swirling - but Big Machine head Scott Borchetta is having none of it
Almost two years have passed since the release of Taylor Swift's monstrous 1989, so fans have been wondering if a follow-up is yet on its way.
Rumours were abound that a release could be slated for as soon as October, but fans hopes were dashed by the head of Swift's record label Big Machine.
Scott Borchetta, clearly not in the most loquacious of moods, took a sum total of four letters to dash hopes in a response to a fan on Twitter.

With cringey photos with new beau Tom Hiddleston and the mother of all he-said-she-said wars with Kanye West dominating headlines recently, it's possible that some new music might do the world of good for the Swift brand, but it looks like we'll be kept waiting.
