Korn announce first Irish gig in over a decade
Tickets for Korn's November 3Arena show will go on sale this Friday, March 20.
American nu metal band Korn have announced a show at Dublin's 3Arena, set to take place on November 2. The gig is part of the band's first Ireland and UK tour in over a decade, joined by special guests ARCHITECTS and YOUTH CODE.
Korn were originally formed by three members of the funk metal group L.A.P.D. James "Munky" Shaffer, Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu, and David Silveria in 1993.
Their current lineup features Shaffer (guitar), Brian "Head" Welch (guitar), Jonathan Davis (vocals), and Ray Luzier (drums).
Korn are notable for pioneering and popularising the nu metal genre. They have released a total of fourteen studio albums, including the self-titled debut in 1994, their breakthrough Life Is Peachy in 1996, and the latest Requiem in 2022.
Their last appearance in Ireland was their support for Slipknot at the 3Arena back in 2015.
Elsewhere, last June, Korn played a headline show at Download Festival in Leicestershire, England, alongside the likes of The Scratch, Green Day, and the Sex Pistols. Revisit our report from the night here.
Tickets for Korn's 3Arena show will go on sale this Friday, March 20, at 8am here.
