Kneecap feature as special guests on first episode of shame’s podcast
The Belfast trio have recently added a series of North American dates to their Irish, Scottish, Welsh and English shows due to take place over the rest of 2023.
Post-punk rockers shame were joined by hip hop trio Kneecap for the first episode of their podcast. The trio from Belfast are currently in the process of recording their first album in London.
Taking to Instagram to make the announcement of the return of their podcast shamestation, the post-punk band said, “We’ve only gone and made a podcast bitch, shamestation is back and your ears need it right f*cking now.”
Describing the episode as “an evening of mild mannered conversation and flirtation”, they directed fans towards Spotify where the episode is available to stream now.
The boys discuss everything from gigging to Irishness and their relationship with their native language.
Having recently embarked on a UK and European tour, shame are rounding off their shows with a performance at London’s Troxy venue.
Meanwhile Kneecap have just announced an upcoming North America tour scheduled for this October, adding to their already announced Irish, Scottish, Welsh and English dates.
