Kitt Philippa shares stripped-down live in Belfast video for 'Fahrenheit'
Ahead of their Ireland Music Week showcase, Kitt Philippa drops a beautiful live version of new single 'Fahrenheit'.
Having recently released their brand new single 'Fahrenheit', drawing comparisons to James Blake and Jamie Woon to name a few, today Kitt Philippa releases a stunning live version of the track shot by a local filmmaker in Belfast.
Stripped-down to its essentials - the piano and Kitt Philippa's beautiful voice - the song still manages to unfold its haunting atmosphere. Watch the video below:
Kitt Philippa says about the video, "The studio recorded version of 'Fahrenheit' has many sounds interacting with each other. For this live version of 'Fahrenheit', I distilled the essence of the parts into piano and voice, offering a more intimate portrait of the track. The video was captured in a room, situated in Belfast's city centre, by a local filmmaker; it is great to be able to share content made within the city."
As part of the line-up for Ireland Music Week, Kitt Philippa is playing at Dublin's Lost Lane tonight. They join Somebody's Child, Tebi Rex, Kynsy, True Tides and ELM, who are all set to take to the stage.
