Kill 'Em Charlie are launching their upcoming EP at Cyprus Avenue Cork this month

Five-piece indie rock band Kill 'Em Charlie are launching their upcoming EP at Cyrpus Avenue on February 17th. The new record, No Ties To The Morning is the Irish band’s second studio recording, after their debut EP I Hope This Works for You ('Cause it Does for Me) in October 2020. the band will be joined on the night by support acts; four-piece band, Mossy, and alt-rock outfit Under Starling.

"If we think it, we can write it"- the band’s ethos, has been translated into their debut, with each track displaying a different side of the band’s personality, showcasing their versatility in both writing and sound.

Providing a glimpse into their foundations and influences, the band’s previous releases have been a reflection of these, with their sound being described as “sweet melodic goodness wrapped in a punchy indie array of sleekness". The band has built on their debut with their successful 2021 single, ‘Hazey’, and live EP Live at Rebel Recordings released in the summer of 2022. The Irish five-piece outfit are excited to display the development of their sound and foundation with their second studio EP No Ties To The Morning.

Using their upcoming release as a definitive statement of where their sound has developed to, the band are also using it as a statement of intent moving forward.
