Kevin Shields to support production scholarship
BIMM Dublin announces opportunity for students.
Budding producers could have My Bloody Valentine frontman Kevin Shields to thank for their college fees being taken care of, as the star has announced plans for a scholarship available to BIMM Dublin students.
One lucky student will get the chance to take their new three-year BA in Music Production completely free of charge.
The MBV singer - who has also worked with the likes of Primal Scream, Dinosaur Jr and Mogwai - has praised the course, saying, "It's a good opportunity for a young producer to learn all about sound and techniques."
