Kehlani announces self-titled album
Listen to ‘Folded’ below.
Kehlani has announced her upcoming self-titled album, set to be released on her birthday, April 24.
Following the release of Crash (2024), Kehlani is the two-time Grammy Award-winning R&B artist's fifth studio album.
Described as a personal album, Kehlani is said to capture the American singer-songwriter at her most honest and explore themes of love, transformation, vulnerability and growth.
Two tracks of the forthcoming LP have already been released, with ‘Folded’ and ‘Out The Window’ having been released last year.
Last December, Kehlani performed ‘Folded’ on A COLORS SHOW.
Kehlani began her career as a contestant on season six of America's Got Talent, as a member of the teen pop group PopLyfe, which placed fourth.
After she left the group, she self-released two mixtapes, Cloud 19 in 2014, and You Should Be Here the following year.
Two years later, she released her debut album, SweetSexySavage, via Atlantic Records.
Since then, she has not only been nominated for seven Grammy awards, receiving two, but she has also received over 20 gold and platinum RIAA certifications and tallied over 5 billion streams.
You can pre-save the album here and pre-order it here.
