KNEECAP set for special performance on A COLORS SHOW
The performance will premiere today at 5 pm.
COLORSxSTUDIOS have announced that KNEECAP will be performing on their A COLORS SHOW.
This had previously been teased, with the band posting a reel just a day before the official announcement, captioned "Gaels.....stand by," showcasing a fully green room with a singular microphone.
The show announcement comes after the Crown Prosecution Service's appeal against the decision to throw out the terror case against KNEECAP's Mo Chara was rejected.
“This entire process was never about me, never about any threat to the public and never about ‘terrorism’, a word used by the British Government to discredit people you oppress both in Ireland and across the world," Mo Chara stated in response to the decision.
“It was always about Palestine and about what happens if you dare to speak up. About what happens if you can reach large groups of people and expose their hypocrisy. "
It also follows the hip-hop trio from Belfast's announcement that they will be joining the Nuestra América Convoy to provide aid to Cuba.
"Next week, we will join the Nuestra América Convoy to Cuba, delivering critical aid to the Cuban people," the band wrote. "The Trump administration is strangling the island, cutting off fuel, flights and critical supplies for survival. It's time to break the siege - and stand up for Cuba, as they have stood up for us."
COLORSxSTUDIOS is a music platform that showcases talent from around the globe. They focus on distinctive new artists and original sounds in an "increasingly fragmented and saturated scene".
COLORS' shows seek to provide artists with a minimalistic stage in which their art can be presented without any distractions.
Other artists who have featured in A COLORS SHOW include Kojaque, Anitta, Billie Eilish, GIVĒON, Olivian Dean, Kali Uchis, and Kehlani.
The show will premiere on COLORS' YouTube channel today at 5 pm.
