Kamasi Washington announces Dublin stop on 2024 Fearless Movement Tour

American jazz musician and saxophonist Kamasi Washington has announced the dates for his highly-anticipated headline tour of the UK and Europe, which includes a stop at Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre on 23 October 2024.

The LA instrumentalist is gearing up to hit the road this autumn with the release of his brand new studio album Fearless Movement, due out May 3.

Featuring world class artists from the likes of Andre 3000, Thundercat, BJ The Chicago Kid and more, Washington has described the upcoming dance album as “not literal.”

“Dance is movement and expression, and in a way it’s the same thing as music – expressing your spirit through your body,” he explained. “That’s what this album is pushing.”

Washington will kick off the European leg of the tour in Rome on October 3 before heading over to the UK and Ireland for a series of shows in Manchester, London, Cardiff, Gateshead, Leeds, Glasgow and Dublin. The international tour will conclude with a second string of European gigs in early November.

Tickets for the Fearless Movement Tour will be available from 10am on Friday, April 19 via Ticketmaster.
