Kaleide
Fuzzed up 90s-ish alt rock. No filler.
If you’ve ever loved the likes of the Juliana Hatfield Three or Veruca Salt, then you’ll definitely want to check out the magnificent Sky Larkin pronto. Kaleide is their second effort and sees the trio take the blueprint they mapped out on their debut The Golden Spike (fuzzed up riffs, distinctive female vocals) and add in better melodies and tighter song structures to create effortlessly cool alt-rock anthems. There is very little in the way of filler on the record and ‘Still Windmills,’ ‘Spooktacular’ and ‘Anjelica Huston’ in particular have the potential to be massive hits. Remember where you read it...
