Jump Start

Belfast quintet Runaway GO are often guilty of throwing listeners for a loop, flipping from hushed, intimate pop ditties to stadium-ready rock anthems, but you’ll be glad to hear that new single ‘Jump Start’ is a confident mixture of the two. Debuting a formula that shouldn’t work but does, lovesick vocalists Fiona O’Kane and David Jackson serenade each other gently against a Killers-sized guitar riff. Now we just need a name for this perplexing concoction. Dream stomp? Power flirt? Answers on a postcard, please.
