Juliet's Rescue
Kildare Debutantes Open Their Account With Much Gusto
Kildare-based outfit Juliet’s Rescue crackle and fizz with promise on their debut release. Album opener ‘Make Yourself A Hero’ is like the Foals but with better hooks, the gang vocal during the chorus of ‘Decent Proposal’ are utterly inspired, and ‘Chance To Change’ is an anthemic three minutes of rock. Yes, we could do without the M.O.R.-isms of the title track but it’s a minor criticism to make of what should be a pretty major release for the band.
