"Thank you so much for choosing me as a One To Watch, YouTube! All I have to do now is keep making sick videos!!", Joy Crookes said after hearing the news.
Talking to Hot Press' Brenna Ransden in October, Crookes revealed that she plans to release her debut album in 2020. "I love the songs that I've released", she explained, "but I think EPs are a very minute scale. And I think that when I put those songs in an album, my story will make sense".
Yungblud also has big plans for next year. He said, "I'm so hyped to have been recognised by a platform as influential as YouTube and to be sat amongst such a sick group of artists! It's been such a wild year for me and I can't wait for everyone to see what I've got in store for 2020!"
The Doncaster singer is also set to take the stage at Dublin's Vicar St tomorrow after releasing his new EP The Underrated Youth back in October.
Now in its second year, YouTube Music's 'Ones To Watch' list is based on a variety of factors, including YouTube views, subscribers, engagement from global music fans, and YouTube Music analytics.
Last year, Dermot Kennedy was amongst the newcomers chosen as YouTube's 'Ones To Watch'.
