Currently on tour in the States with Jamie Cullum, Ritter heads back across the Atlantic in November for UK Gomez supports and then plays Dolan’s, Limerick (December 6); Opera House, Cork (7); Glor, Ennis (8); Radisson, Galway (10); Olympia, Dublin (11 & 12); and the Empire, Belfast (13 & 14).
Also muscling in on the DVD racket are The Frames who are readying a package that includes the whole of their November 2005 visit to The Point Theatre, and a live version of The Cost, which was recorded last week in their Dublin rehearsal space. Unfortunately for people who don’t know what to buy the Frames fan in their life for Christmas, it won’t be out until early next year.
There are also whispers Stateside of a solo glen Hansard opening for Damien Rice when he eventually designs to tour his 9 album. We’ll keep you posted!
